Peter Ferraro was one of two good hockey playing twin brothers. Peter was drafted in 1992 by the New York Rangers in the first round, 24th overall. He spent the next two seasons playing for the University of Maine of the NCAA, before making the jump to pro hockey with the Atlanta Knights of the IHL. He got the first taste of NHL hockey in 1995-96, playing 5 games with the Rangers.
He was then sent down and played the better part of the next two seasons with Binghamtom of the AHL. He moved to the Pittsburgh Penguins, playing 29 games in 1997-98. He played one more game that year with the Rangers, before going back to the minors and coming up for a 5 game stint with the Boston Bruins in 1999-00. He also played for the Washington Capitals in 2001-02 and has most recently played in the AHL with the Springfield Falcons.
