Brandon Convery was born in 1974 in Kingston, Ontario and played his minor hockey for the Sudbury Wolves, Niagara Falls Thunder and Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League. In 1992, he was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round, 8th overall. Convery began his pro-hockey career in 1992-93 on the Rock with the St John's Maple Leafs of the AHL. He was stayed with the Maple Leafs organization until 1997-98, playing the majority of his games with the Leafs' AHL affiliate. In 1997-98 he signed with the Vancouver Canucks and played a couple of NHL games before playing with a couple of minor league teams in the AHL. In 1998-99 he got his last known shot at the NHL, playing 3 games with the Los Angles Kings. He has since been playing hockey in Europe.
For his NHL career, Brandon Convery has played in 72 games with the three teams, racking up 9 goals, 19 assists for 28 points. He also has 36 career penalty minutes and has played in 5 playoff games.
